    Job Description

Opta Information Intelligence helps its clients access, understand, and synthesize previously inaccessible information.

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Actively sell Opta solutions to assigned group of customers in P&C Insurance industry by
    • Prospect and qualify new sales leads.
    • Schedule meetings and presentation with prospects.
    • Create, plan and delivery presentations on company products and solutions.
    • Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects.
    • Help prospective customers understand and develop ROI and business cases from solutions.
    • Build strategic, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers to help sell solutions based on goals and challenges.
    • Attend conferences, work in the booth and network.
    • Track all activity in company CRM system and keep current by updating account activity regularly.
    • Act as the liaison between client and internal teams to provide the best possible customer experience.
    • Work with the data/analytics team on proof of concepts to support the sales cycle.

    Qualifications

    • Completion a post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or similar discipline or possess a combination of education and industry experience
    • 3-5 years of previous work experience in a sales or similar role.
    • Experience in the Insurance industry is required

    • Demonstrated emotional intelligence with ability to introduce yourself to and work with a broad spectrum of individuals and personality types.
    • Individual must demonstrate the ability to work well independently.
    • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
    • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
    • A positive "can do" attitude with a strong focus on client service; willingness to seek, build and maintain relationships
    • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced and demanding environment
    • Exceptional computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
