YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW

Responsible for the preparation of our consolidated, monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS

Support in setting up and maintaining our reporting system in accordance with IFRS

Actively participate in the projects within our accounting department

Successfully drive the further development of our group accounting system and take on challenging tasks, such as the integration of new subsidiaries

You act as a business partner of our branches in Germany and abroad

You take over the HGB reconciliations to IFRSProvisions (incl. IAS 19)Hedging (IFRS 9)Deferred taxes (IAS 12)

As you carry out your activities within our accounting department, you will use SAP FI and SAP SEM-BCS

HOW YOU BECOME PART OF THE RACE

Degree in business administration (with a specialization in tax law, business law or auditing) or comparable training and ideally an additional qualification as an balance sheet accountant (IHK)

Knowledge of accounting in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standard)

Extensive experience in the area of consolidation of companies and group accounting

In-depth knowledge in the area of accounting

You have already gained initial experience with IFRS

A good knowledge of the SAP modules FI/CO and SEM-BCS is a plus

Ability to work independently and on your own responsibility as well as an analytical mindset

Flexibility, reliability and ability to work in a team

Very good English skills, written and spoken
