    Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

    The Sales Development team develops best-in-class and future oriented tools, processes, policies and guidance to enable the markets to achieve operational excellence and commercial success. As part of the Sales Develop you will act as reliable, supportive and visionary partner for all markets globally as well as the Global Sales/ Wholesale Senior Leadership team.

    Key Responsibilities: (to be performed in alignment with global and local guidelines)


    • Build trustworthy relationships and an effective and collaborative network within Global Wholesale Leadership, Market Sales Development, Business Development and cross-functionally


    • Identify and lead cross-functional larger scale Sales projects, process improvements and new tools in alignment with the Company Strategy and the Global Sales priorities enabling the markets to achieve operational excellence and commercial success, e.g. customer classification & service levels, retail experience +, future of customer master data


    • Organize and conduct market specific visits to address global key initiatives and support implementation as well to identify best practices


    • Global Wholesale lead in making SPEED "to be the first fast Sports Company in the Industry" a successful, competitive and sustainable business model


    • Global Wholesale Governance representative - Global WHS policies and guidelines to protect our brand and to define the operating framework for Wholesale within Global Sales


    • Lead the Wholesale PMO (project management office)

    o Close collaboration with the Wholesale Leadership and SVP Wholesale, e.g. coordination and organization of meetings and workshops

    o Drive a constant communication flow and status update on processes and projects to main stakeholders

    o Prepare content for and demonstrate expertise in key forums, e.g. Market visits, GSLT meeting, quarterly updates, Supervisory Board

    o Generate a solid understanding of all priorities and projects across Global Wholesale

    o Manage diverse ad hoc request from Senior Management and regular updates

    o Actively contribute to the development of new strategic business opportunities in close cooperation with the SVP Wholesale/ Leadership team

    o Lead change management to drive execution in the markets


    • People Management and Leadership

    o Successfully lead and develop a high performing team

    o Implement a high standard and agile approach to project management and effective communication methodology

    o Set personal ambitious objectives and key commitments and assess direct reports

    Key Relationships:


    • Global: Global Sales (WHS, DTC, DPC, DSS), IT, Sales Finance, Business Development & PMO, HR, Global SPEED team, Global Internal Audit & Internal Controls, Corporate Solutions, Global Business Solutions, Group Data Management


    • Markets: Market Sales Development, Sales Coordination, Market SPEED champs, Internal Controls, Sales Directors and further respective support functions dependent on the project


    • External Partners/ Agencies

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


    • Sales experience in international SGI, FMCG and/ or consulting company


    • Operational Wholesale Market experience (e.g. Account Mgtm, Sales Coordination)


    • High degree of commercial knowledge and business acumen


    • Deep insight into sales processes and diverse system landscape within an organization


    • Proven Leadership and strong influencing skills – experienced people manager preferred


    • Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. communication, facilitation, negotiation)


    • Demonstrable analytical, planning and organizational skills (e.g. project management and strategic development, analytical agility)


    • Ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity


    • Creative, open-minded and agile team player


    • Mental flexibility, initiative and determination


    • Fluent in written and spoken English. Skills and abilities in another language are a benefit

    Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:


    • University degree in business, ideally with Sales/Marketing or Retail focus


    • Minimum 10+ years' experience in the sporting goods or comparable industry


    • Cross-functional experience ideally with Customer Service/ Marketing/ Finance/ Operations


    • International experience


    • 5+ years' experience in Project Management


    • Experience in Business Systems & Processes (SAP, CRM, B2B) is a plus
