    The roleAs (Senior)

    Accountant, you will be responsible for all accounting activities for our German business.

    You will have a chance to work with a diverse and highly motivated Finance team, across a plethora of projects and directly influence the success of the wider Helsing group.

    This is a rare opportunity to join the company at an exciting stage of its early development and to help set the conditions for rapid growth and success over the next few years.

    The day-to-dayOversee and manage all accounting activities for Helsing's German business including, but not limited to, preparation of financial statements, reconciliation of accounts, and compliance with relevant regulationsPrepare and deliver month-end, quarterly and annual financial reporting for internal and external stakeholdersAssist in financial analysis by providing insights into variances and trends, including collaborating with divisional leads to explain outcomes and provide recommendationsEnsure compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards, regulations, and company policiesAssist with ad-hoc strategic projects such as IFRS conversion, implementation of ERP systems, the provision of financial data to Helsing's commercial teamCoordinate with external auditors and outsourced providers, particularly our management accountants, and tax advisorsYou should apply if youHave strong knowledge of DE accounting principles (including German GAAP), with familiarity of IFRS reporting standardsAre proficient in accounting software/systems (e.g.

    DATEV) and Microsoft ExcelHave experience with building and managing internal and external stakeholder relationshipsHave excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a teamHave proven relevant professional experience in a hypergrowth environment, start-up/scale-up or consulting area (preferably within the tech space)Have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related fieldAre business fluent in English and GermanNote:
