If so, you are in the right place. We are looking for Forestry Inspector Trainees for the preparatory service starting on October 1, 2024.

Additionally, we expect:

• Interest in handling legal regulations, societal and political contexts, and working for the common good.
• Possession of social skills, teamwork, and determination.
• Flexibility and interest in exploring the various areas of state administration in the forestry sector.
• Good proficiency in English, both spoken and written (desirable).

Requirements for the preparatory service:

• Fulfillment of the personal requirements for appointment to the probationary civil service.
• Completion of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in forestry, forest science, or forest engineering with specified educational content.
• Possession of a valid annual hunting license.
• Driver's license class B and meeting the physical and health requirements of forest service.

What we offer:

• Appointment to the 1.5-year preparatory service as a Forestry Inspector Trainee, subject to budgetary conditions.
• Upon successful completion, acquisition of the qualification for the forest service career, starting at entry level.
• Training in the State Forestry Enterprise and State Forest Center of Saxony-Anhalt.
• Courses in administrative and environmental law, forestry-specific training.
• Starting salary in accordance with the state salary law with a special surcharge.

Future Opportunities:

There is a possibility of employment with the State of Saxony-Anhalt upon successful completion of the preparatory service, subject to budgetary conditions.
