- Dimensioning and analysing dynamic system components with a focus on weight and performance aspects
- Carrying out static calculations and service life analyses for metal and fibre composite components using analytical methods and FE analyses
- Definition, supervision and evaluation of tests for components
- Monitoring flight test campaigns for optimum performance and safety
- Evaluation of quality reports and construction deviations for continuous improvement
- Verification of repairs and changes in the production process for conformity and efficiency
- Respond to customer enquiries and investigate operational incidents to develop solutions
Requirements
- Completed studies (Master or Diploma) in the field of aerospace
- Several years of professional experience in engineering with a focus on strength and stress engineering
- Profound knowledge of standard stress analysis methods such as HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark & Young
- Experience in FE modelling techniques with Hypermesh, Optistruct, NASTRAN, ABAQUS
- Expertise in service life analyses
- Comprehensive IT user knowledge of Nastran
- Business fluent in German and English
- Existing work permit for the European Union
