- You will develop embedded software solutions for IIoT-enabled devices within industrial additive manufacturing equipment, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and protocols.
- You will design and implement real-time data acquisition and monitoring systems to optimize machine performance, including sensor data processing and analysis for predictive maintenance and quality control.
- Additionally, you will collaborate with the team to define and implement communication protocols (e.g., Profinet, MQTT, OPC UA) for efficient data exchange between IoT devices, backend servers, and cloud platforms.
- You will contribute to the development of scalable and secure IoT architectures, including edge computing solutions to minimize latency and bandwidth usage while maximizing data integrity and privacy.
- You will work within a team which includes backend and frontend developers as well as experts for the manufacturing processes.

- You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in computer science, electronics, mechatronics, robotics or a related subject
- You have solid experience in Python and C++ and you write good-quality code which other people can understand
- Good knowledge of Linux, git and Docker is an advantage
- Personally, you impress us with a high level of initiative, analytical thinking as well as a structured and independent way of working
- You have good English and/or German skills
