    Job Opportunity: Innovative Dynamic Vibration Control

    Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a talented individual to support the development of novel broadband dynamic vibration absorbers.

    • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, numerically modeling, fabricating, and testing innovative fluid-particle dampers to reduce vibrations and noise in composite aircraft fuselages.

    This project aims to address a critical need in the aerospace industry for lightweight, effective, and passive vibration control solutions. High-performance composite materials used in aircraft offer significant fuel efficiency benefits but face challenges related to vibration control due to their inherently lower damping characteristics compared to traditional metallic alloys.

    1. You will work closely with our materials team as part of your MSc project, participate in technical meetings with customers and experts, and have opportunities for professional growth within Airbus CRT
