- Contributing from Business Unit Sugarbeet side to support the co-development of innovative technologies for non-chemical weed control in sugarbeet and other field crops.
- Checking the performance of systems and contribute to its further improvement.
- Working on technology projects with various stakeholders.
- Training internal customers and pioneers on proper operation of systems.
- Being the technical interface and first point of contact to the customer during testing and development phase.
- Providing technical support for other BU Sugarbeet Business Ventures projects.
- Academic degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in mechanical/electrical engineering or Software/Computer Vision Engineering.
- Several years of professional experience in a related field and in-depth understanding of systems engineering and/or robotic engineering.
- Technical expertise and knowledge of sensor technologies, in optical systems and in algorithm development.
- Proficiency in software development such as C++, Python, or ROS is an asset.
- Professional written and verbal English, additional language skills are an asset, in particular German and/or French.
- Willingness to travel globally up to 35% of working time; Driving-License B.
- Hands on character, able to work in the office but also outdoors.
- Effective communication and intercultural skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA is looking for a dedicated Technical Manager (m/f/d) .
As part of our team, you will be responsible for the technical engineering contribution on KWS side to support the development of non-chemical weed control solutions on sugarbeet.
The contractual work location is in Einbeck (Lower Saxony/Germany) and this exciting position is full- or part-time , permanent and to be filled at the earliest possible date.
