Overview

My client is looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join their team. You will be responsible for developing a variety of safety switchgear systems and their customers include global players in the mechanical and plant engineering industry and machine users.

Tasks

• You are responsible for the development of real-time applications on our embedded control devices in C/C++
• Your area of ​​responsibility includes the creation of the software specifications, definition, and effort assessment of work packages, concept of the software with hardware connection through to user interaction, and creation of the software
• You ensure development quality by adhering to recognized standards and processes
• You will also drive future technologies in our industry
• You independently create internal and customer-specific documentation

Requirements

• Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field of study
• Necessary experience with real-time systems on embedded microcontrollers, C, C++, event-based scheduling, decentralized small computer systems, and common fieldbus and network protocols
• Basic knowledge of object-oriented software design, ARM microcontrollers, CAN, Java, HTML, XML, and LINUX round off your professional profile
• Ideally, several years of professional experience in the embedded control area or experience in project work during your studies
• Independent and team-oriented way of working
• Good knowledge of German (B1 Min) and English
