Our client is looking for a Director of Engineering to build a new domain engineering team
You'll spearhead a transformation within their tech team, igniting innovation and setting the bar for technical prowess. You will guide a team of engineers, solution architects, and managers, shaping the future of consumer experience through technology. Providing hands-on technical expertise in architecting high-traffic systems but also a forward-thinking approach to nurture a thriving, inclusive, and results-oriented engineering culture.
Mentor and empower business analysts, domain engineers and developers;
Lead the development of sophisticated products that streamline the merchandizing lifecycle;
Drive the modernization of technology stack while ensuring seamless value delivery to consumers;
Establish system architecture best practices;
-Leadership: strategic planning and setting overarching engineering goals;
-Hiring top-tier talent and foster a diverse and dynamic engineering team
Requirements:
Solid domain or software engineering background (ex-engineers or ex-developers) with a proven track record of tackling complex technical challenges and devising strategic solutions;
-Experience in software or engineering team management and leadership;
-Experience in building a new engineering team from scratch is a plus;
-Experience in long term engineering development projects
