    Location: Munich or Hybrid

    As Senior Associate or Vice President, you will advise clients on international Debt and M&A transactions and drive the successful planning, structuring and execution of Capcora's advisory mandates in our core European markets with a specific focus on Germany. Through direct involvement with our industrial and financial partners and clients, you will drive the advancement of the company's global scaling and development.

    Primary responsibilities

    • Coordination and project management of international M&A and debt advisory mandates. Involvement in all aspects of the deals' cycle, from strategy, transactions planning and structuring (including drafting of term sheets) to closing, ensuring timely execution.
    • Coordinate the preparation and transaction documentation, such as pitch presentations, teasers, information memorandums, process letters, and advisors' engagements.
    • Coordination of transaction internal deal teams consisting of designated Analysts and/or Associates, and management of the daily operations in a joint effort with the Directors.
    • Engagement in our deal sourcing/pitch activities jointly with the Directors and/or Managing Partners.
    • Support the definition of market approach strategy, coordination of market approach execution and reporting.
    • Preparation and/or analysis and review of transactions' financial models, set up of data rooms and coordination of due diligence activities (including Q&A process) together with international legal and technical advisors.
    • Support the negotiation of term sheets, SPAs or loan documentation, ensuring optimal terms and conditions for our clients.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with international lenders (institutionals, debt funds, and international banks), investors (developers, asset managers, investment funds, IPPs), and clients.
    • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of professionals to deliver industry-best service and deliver best practices to our clients and partners.

    For this role, ideally, you bring:

    • Master's degree in finance, business, or equivalent.
    • At least 5 years of experience in banking, investment banking, banking/lending industry, financial advisory, and/or renewable industry or related fields, with strong knowledge of project and corporate finance structures (including junior/mezzanine and bonds financings).
    • Proven financial expertise and capability to assess large portfolios of assets, and structure mid/large transactions.
    • Excellent financial modelling skills.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation and deal structuring skills.
    • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks under high pressure and maintain a high level of detail orientation and quality.
    • Excellent MS Excel skills, ideally with experience in VBA or another programming language. High proficiency in the usage of MS PowerPoint and other MS Office products.
    • Self-drive and motivated attitude to strive for excellence and continuous growth.
    • Strong analytical skills, ability to think critically, a strong sense of ownership, and hands-on team player mentality, along with target focus mindset and ability to drive projects end-to-end with excellent project and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to communicate and negotiate in English and German.
