Mechatronics engineers work at the interface of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation technology and computer science.

Mathematical-scientific and electrotechnical basics, mechanical engineering, computer science, and mechatronic systems are examples of the in-depth specialist knowledge you will acquire at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University.

The Vehicle Systems Engineering and Electromobility major combines content from mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, information technology and business administration, creating a solid foundation for complex, interdisciplinary interrelationships. These fundamentals are supplemented by specific content, e.g. energy storage, safety in high-voltage systems, electromobility technology and systems, and lightweight construction.

In the practical phases, you will gain experience, e.g. in production planning, in testing, in development or in the search for technological solutions for the usability of fuel cells and hybrid drives.
