Summary

For the "Radar Concepts & New Products Engineering" department, we are looking for a "System Engineer Radar (f/m/d)" at the Ulm site as soon as possible.

In our team of physicists, mathematicians and electrical engineers, we develop novel radar systems from the idea to the prototype. Our goal is to provide innovative radar technology for novel products such as cognitive radar systems or the application of artificial intelligence through to the use of quantum technologies in radar systems. We are working on novel concepts such as radar sensor technology for unmanned aviation and air cabs.

We also support the product development areas of HENSOLDT Sensors GmbH with specific radar expertise and work on the implementation and introduction of new approaches in systems engineering, such as model-based systems engineering (MBSE).

Your Tasks

Application of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

Modeling of networked technical systems in the context of System of Systems (SoS)

Radar Design and Analysis of Novel Radar Systems Especially for Unmanned Aircraft (Future Combat Air System)

Development of radar architectures and systems

Participate in international Radar research conferences

Participate in committees for model-based system development

Your Profile

Completed technical studies in the field of electrical engineering, physics or comparable

Expertise in the field of radar system technology advantageous

Systems engineering or MBSE knowledge advantageous

System architecture tools (IBM Rhapsody, Sparx Enterprise Architect, Catia NoMagic)

System modeling language SysML

Enthusiasm for technology and research

Ability to work in a team

Good German and English skills
