    You can do that with us

    • Large amounts of data are your thing - you support the data steward in connecting new data sources to our data lake, ensure the transformation of raw data into "trusted data" and support the data scientists in data analysis and finding correlations.
    • Using our infrastructure, you build available and scalable data pipelines taking governance, security and maintainability into account.
    • You will work closely with other teams to develop data-driven solutions. With your professional expertise, you will contribute to the transfer of knowledge in the area of ​​Big Data within the team and the CUR group.
    • You support the CUR Group business areas in the development of new, digital, data-based products and apps, including evaluations, visualizations and AI-based solutions , thereby contributing to the success of our company.
    • You will continuously develop CURRENTA's big data landscape - the focus is on the data lake itself, the cloud infrastructure, the data pipelines and the CI/CD routes.


    Your skills

    • You have completed a university degree in engineering / (business) information technology / mathematics / physics or have a comparable qualification.
    • Critical thinking and the willingness to understand the business logic and processes of different business areas are not a problem for you.
    • You have programming experience in Python (especially pandas and numpy) and are familiar with the tools and techniques in the BigData environment (especially Grafana, Kafka and Databricks) .
    • You have experience in dealing with databases and database languages ​​such as SQL or Influx , you have experience in data preparation and analysis as well as in the creation of data pipelines and streaming processes .
    • You have very good knowledge of German and English .
