As the Interim Chief Operating Officer (COO) for our manufacturing company with operations in China and a global supply chain, you'll play a critical role in improving forecasting, production processes, quality control, and customer service.

Evaluate and optimize the global supply chain, including sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution, to minimize lead times, reduce costs, and improve inventory management.

Identify opportunities to streamline production processes, increase throughput, and reduce waste, leveraging lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Implement robust quality control measures to ensure product quality meets or exceeds customer expectations, including rigorous inspection procedures and quality management systems.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, supply chain, quality assurance, customer service, and finance, to align operational initiatives with business goals and priorities.

Change Management:

Lead change management efforts to drive cultural transformation and ensure buy-in and engagement from employees at all levels of the organization.

Interim Leadership:
Provide interim leadership and guidance to the operations team, ensuring continuity and stability during the transition period.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, quality control, and customer service principles.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in a global manufacturing environment, with knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
