In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that shipping operations are carried out safely, on time and efficiently. This is a key position within the logistics team at ABB AG Instrumentation Minden. You will lead by example and follow all established procedures and guidelines for the handling and shipping of goods to ensure the smooth transportation of goods to our customers worldwide

This position reports to

Warehouse/Internal Logistic Manager

Your responsibilities

• Maintaining complete and accurate data in SAP and subsystems
• Ensure daily contact with carriers to prepare for expected deliveries and ensure that the required resources are available
• Monitoring and ensuring delivery reliability
• Customs clearance of shipments going to third countries
• Organizing pick-ups from ABB suppliers
• Preparation of supplier declarations, certificates of origin and Intrastat reports

Your background

• A commercial apprenticeship with at least 3 years of professional experience
• Knowledge of SAP desirable
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
• An excellent knowledge of German and a high level of written and spoken English
