KNIME is growing rapidly and we're seeking smart, motivated, and creative people up for the
challenge of helping us achieve ambitious scaling goals while continuing to empower the active
community. Right now, we are looking for the right Community Ambassador Strategist (m/f/d) to join our
Evangelism Team in Berlin or Konstanz.

Who you are

You love engaging with people. You are highly organized, process-oriented, and a self-starter. You
excel at direct, clear communication and are enthusiastic about fostering a spirit of collaboration
with both external contacts and internal stakeholders. You should have at least five years of
experience in an external-facing position, focused on project management and/or community
outreach, although candidates with other relevant backgrounds will be considered. You must have
excellent English skills, and other languages or cultural fluency are appreciated. Aptitude in technical
or mathematical disciplines, as well as experience working in software or data analytics, is a plus -but not required.

That's the job

In a nutshell, your job is to scout, support, encourage, and grow our existing pool of KNIME
community advocates and ambassadors. This will involve identification and contact with prospective
champions, as well as defining and documenting the processes used along the way. You will also
assist our ambassadors with organizing and speaking at KNIME events across the world, and set up
award programs and ceremonies to recognize prominent community members. You will build close
relationships with them to better understand their needs, preferences, and challenges as they help
us drive awareness of KNIME software. This position will require collaboration within the Evangelism
group at KNIME, as well other teams like Customer Care and Marketing, to define our ambassador
engagement strategy. It will also involve planning of outreach campaigns, along with tracking our
engagement and optimization efforts in our internal systems.
