    Tasks

    YOUR ROLE

    • You will take ownership of M&A, originating and managing high-quality deal flow end-to-end
    • You will interface directly with both sellers and brokers
    • You will manage the due diligence processes

    YOUR PROFILE
    We are seeking a self-motivated individual, early in their career, who consistently over-delivers and exhibits proactive problem-solving skills. This role is an exciting opportunity to apply your M&A expertise in a new, impact-focused setting, as part of a serial acquirer specializing in software companies. Join us to leverage the significant upside potential and make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and growing sector.

    • 3-5 years of M&A experience in demanding environments like private equity, serial acquirers, roll-ups, etc. — on both the deal origination and deal execution side (but with a focus on the deal execution side)
    • Experience in software serial acquirers like Constellation (e.g., TSS, Volaris), Visma, Valsoft, Banyan, Vitec, Asseco, etc. is a strong plus
    • Focus on DACH (i.e., Germany, Austria, Switzerland) is a stong plus
    • Passion for private equity and M&A is required
    • Strong analytical, research, and business development skills with a hands-on mentality
    • High fluency in Microsoft Office
    • Deep interest/background in software companies is a plus
    • Experience conducting outreach campaigns via HubSpot, LinkedIn, email, phone etc. is a plus
    • Ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
    • Positive, structured, and driven young leader
    • Studied/studying at a top-tier university
    • High fluency in English & German is required
    • Based in Berlin preferred, but remote work with regular frequency of visits to Berlin is possible
