For our location in Nürtingen near Stuttgart, we are looking for you with immediate effect as a

Grid Code Engineer (m/f/d)

Your multifaceted tasks

• Analysis and evaluation of grid code requirements applicable to battery based-charging products in medium and low voltage grids
• Definition and evaluation of control concepts regarding grid code requirements
• Support of software developers in implementing the grid code requirements and defining an extensible and flexible software architecture
• Simulation of overall product dynamics regarding grid code environments
• Definition of tests and environments to ensure grid code compliance
• Technical organisation of compliance tests in certified laboratories

Your qualified profile

• Degree in electrical engineering, power systems or comparable
• Experience with grid code requirements
• Sound knowledge of control engineering and/or automation systems
• Expertise in battery electric storage systems, power generation plants or public grids
• Know-how in any programming language
• Proficient in any of the power system analysis and control simulation tools (e.g. DIgSILENT PowerFactory, MathWorks MATLAB)
• Experience with certification processes
