We are currently seeking a Research Assistant (m/f/d)/Full-Stack Developer (m/f/d) in the field of Creative Coding to join the Faculty of Design in Hildesheim. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborative project teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Development and implementation of frontend and backend solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and common web frameworks
• Implementation and maintenance of server-side logic and database solutions with PHP and MySQL
• Interdisciplinary work with tools like Figma for UI/UX standards
• Integration of applications into the university infrastructure, including LDAP and Shibboleth authentication services
• Utilization of Git for version control and collaborative software development
• Promoting "local first" development perspective to optimize application performance
• Adherence to best practices for software architecture, database management, and clear documentation

Your profile should include:

• Completed university degree in computer science, creative coding, or related field
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks
• Experience with PHP, MySQL, and database architectures
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma and UI/UX design principles
• Knowledge of version control systems, specifically Git
• Understanding of authentication systems such as LDAP and Shibboleth is advantageous
• Independent work ethic, team collaboration skills, and experience across design, technology, and science
