- As a System Technician (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the independent installation of PC systems and other peripherals, operating systems, application software and network infrastructure with the aim of ensuring operational readiness.
- You will advise our internal customers on standard solutions and the service catalog and will be involved in ticket handling and the creation of documentation.
- Your duties also include troubleshooting. This means analyzing and rectifying faults/service disruptions in the network, printer and terminal device environment.
- You will create technical concepts and support the development of hardware and software standards.
- Furthermore you will also act as a contact person in our IT ServicePoint, test new software and be responsible for managing external technicians.
- You will carry out your activities both at the Heraues site in Hanau and in Kleinostheim.
- Last but not least, your tasks will include the implementation of sub-projects/demand and project collaboration.
- Training as an IT system electronics technician or IT specialist for system integration or equivalent IT technical training/technician
- Several years of professional experience in supporting Windows operating systems and Office applications, as well as knowledge in the areas of client-server and hardware environments
- In-depth knowledge in the field of IoT, proprietary operating systems, Industry 4.0, ITIL, and Prince2 Foundation
- Project management experience for C projects
- Basic knowledge of the use of digital IT in production networks and handling and evaluation of machine logs
- Good English language skills (spoken and written)
- Strong communication skills, confident manner, and organizational talent
