The 10 departments and the research groups at the MPIB work in areas including biochemistry, structural biology, computational biology, cell biology, biophysics and molecular medicine.

We are seeking candidates performing groundbreaking research into the molecular mechanisms of fundamental biological problems or in technology development that complements our portfolio of basic research.

Potential candidates could be biologists, biochemists, chemists, physicists, computational biologists or medical practitioners with a focus on basic research.
