    BlueScope Recycling is a full-service, ferrous scrap metal recycler with processing facilities in Waterloo, Indiana and Delta, Ohio. (With a focus on delivering the highest level of service, BlueScope Recycling buys scrap from industrial generators, wholesale suppliers, and the general public.

    As a processor, BlueScope Recycling transform raw ferrous scrap into specification melt products for primary and secondary producers of iron, steel, and stainless steel.

    Through our global brands, we are one of the largest manufacturers of building solutions in the world. Director of IT oversees the day-to-day IT operations and performance for BlueScope Recycling Materials.

    This role assists in providing vision and leadership, working with BlueScope Regional CIO to develop and direct enterprise-wide Information Technology (IT) systems.

    The Director of IT will plan and coordinate all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery.

    They will also be involved in developing detailed project plans and managing all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training, and on-time delivery within budget constraints.

    Work with a Shared Service team to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.

    Oversee all technology projects and initiatives for the business.
    Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and align IT initiatives with company goals and objectives.
    Manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure productivity and professional development.
    Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
    Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation within the IT department.
    Prepare and manage the IT department budget, including forecasting expenses, tracking expenditures, and optimizing resource allocation.
    Serve as a liaison between the IT department and other business units, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
    Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT management, leveraging knowledge to drive continuous improvement
    Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
    Proven experience in IT management, with a focus on network infrastructure and ERP system implementations.
    Strong technical expertise in networking, system administration, database management, and cloud technologies.
    Experience managing ERP platforms, and other enterprise technology solutions.
    Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively leading teams and driving successful outcomes.
    8 years of IT Project Management experience
