1st Level Support Engineer Brief Description The 1st Level Support Engineer is responsible for providing initial technical support and troubleshooting for end users ensuring prompt resolution of IT incidents service requests Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance via phone email or ticketing system Diagnose resolve basic IT issues related to hardware software network workplace applications eg Windows M365 Teams SharePoint printers Log track manage incidents service requests in the ITSM system ensuring timely accurate documentation Escalate unresolved complex issues to higher support levels according defined procedures Provide guidance support standard IT processes eg password resets account management device setup Communicate clearly professionally user ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction Follow policies procedures security guidelines Contribute creation maintenance knowledge base articles user documentation Participate continuous improvement initiatives support processes user experience Qualifications Completed vocational training degree computer science related field Experience in it helpdesk roles Basic knowledge it infrastructure workplace applications troubleshooting techniques Familiarity Microsoft windows common tools Strong communication interpersonal skills Ability structured team environment Problem solving mindset willingness learn Fluent English German B2 advantage Show more Show less
