    I am partnered with a globally renowned specialty chemicals company with Japanese origins which is at the forefront of innovation in high-performance materials, helping them to source an OT Security Specialist (m/f/d).


    Here's what the role entails:

    Responsibilities:
    Analyze and evaluate security risks within our Operational Technology (OT) systems and networks.
    Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures tailored to our OT environment.
    Deploy network security solutions and implement system hardening measures to safeguard our production environments against cyber threats.
    Monitor OT networks for security incidents and proactively take measures to mitigate potential risks.

    Coordinate and execute security audits and compliance checks in alignment with industry standards such as IEC 62443 to uphold the highest security protocols.

    Lead incident response efforts during security breaches, ensuring swift and effective resolution.

    Provide training and guidance to employees on best practices for OT security, fostering a culture of heightened security awareness across the organization.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
    Minimum of 3 years of experience in OT security
    Profound understanding of OT network architectures, protocols, and industrial control systems.
    Familiarity with security standards and compliance requirements such as IEC 62443, ISO 27001, or NIST guidelines.
    Certifications like GICSP, CISSP, or similar are advantageous.
    Experience with network monitoring tools and incident response procedures.
    Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
    Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
    Proficiency in German and good command of spoken and written English.
