Gas and Chemical Engineer
The role:
Responsible for sustaining, troubleshooting, and project managing systems to support semiconductor facility operations and maintenance.
Responsible for managing operation team to supply raw materials such as gas, chemical, and slurry with stable and reliable quality, also need to deal with waste chemical collection system.
Also responsible for executing new facility system start-up and organization team up, support FAB to solve production issues.Key Responsibilities:
Sustaining engineering support equipment for gas, chemical, waste-chemical and slurry distribution systems. Sustaining engineers are responsible for overseeing operations & maintenance, own ownership of system capacity vs. demand and are in charge of system troubleshooting.
Create and communicate project documentation including sequence of operations, installation procedures, and checklists for commissioning and start-up
Co-work with outsource contractor on the daily operation job assignment.
Collaborate with operations and maintenance team to develop plans for maximizing operational and maintenance efficiency.
Improve professional capability of outsource engineers and members in the organization.
Ability of cross function communication and problem solving.
Manage facility gas, chemical, waste-chemical and slurry system expansion and modification, including outsourcing contractors.
Improve system ability in all aspects.
Arrange maintenance with section members.
Improve working efficiency of organization.
Improve the defense ability in reliability and quality of our supply system.
Lead cross section/function project to goal.
Additional duties based on business needs, including ERT.
Shift work and emergency response are required.
Qualifications and Education:
Master's degree in chemical engineering or relative education and background; or bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or relative education and background with minimum of 3 years experiences in gas and chemical operation, better in semi-conductor industry.
Must be willing to move between German and Taiwan.Language Skills:
Fluent German and English language skills.
Conversational Mandarin is a plus.
Professional Skills:
High interested and passion in profession and management.
Capable of project management and great communication skill.
Location:
Dresden, Germany.
