    Territory Account Manager Hamburg

    The Territory Manager (m/f/d) is responsible for a dedicated sales territory (NRW AND SURROUNDINGS AND NEEDS TO BE BASED THERE) that will drive significant impact to the organization. This position is part of the sales team in Germany and is a field-based position with home office and frequent travel across the dedicated territory.

    In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

    • Manage and grow business within the assigned geography for both customer accounts and prospect accounts including, but not limited to, hospitals, private laboratories and POC settings
    • Drive a complex, multi-departmental sale from the introduction of new diagnostic concepts through closure and implementation
    • Negotiate and manage contracts with Key Accounts in Private Labs
    • Introduce and develop new testing in POC
    • Develop demand for, and adoption of, new assays and instrumentation.
    • Work closely with internal resources such as Field Application Specialist and Marketing to develop and implement customer & region -specific sales strategies
    • Develop and deliver presentations and proposals
    • Host and assist with product shows
    • Manage customer data in the company CRM )
    • Achieve instrument and reagent sales goals

    The essential requirements of the job include:

    • 2+ years of relevant work experience in a sale position, ideally gained within clinical and private lab environment
    • MANDATORY PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE SELLING INTO HOSPITALS; CLINICS AND / OR LABS
    • Strong background of sales success, specifically in selling high value products
    • Expertise with demand creation and multi-departmental hospital sales is a plus

    Knowledge and skills:

    • Solution selling / consultative sales approach
    • Outstanding presentation and negotiation skills
    • Customer focus and relationship building skills
    • Strong oral and written communications skills
    • Ability to work independently and in a team
    • Skilled in Microsoft applications and in using a CRM application(s) such as or others
    • Fluent in German and English ARE MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
    • Travel 50-75%
