- Develop comprehensive, scalable and resilient infrastructure plans that include hardware, software, network, and security components
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance and optimize the IT infrastructure
- Provide recommendations on technology adoption, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Collaborate with business units and IT teams to understand their requirements and translate them into solutions
- Incorporate security best practices into infrastructure designs and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Lead and participate in infrastructure-related projects, ensuring successful and timely completion
- Provide technical guidance to project teams and mentorship to junior members of the team
- Actively participate in the service request, incident handling, and other operational IT processes to ensure high quality support for the company, including the on-call rotation
- University degree in information technology, computer science, a related field or an equivalent qualification
- Proven track record supporting enterprise grade IT systems with several years of experience
- Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level IT systems and infrastructure
- In-depth knowledge of infrastructure design, security protocols, and IT management tools
- Experience with cloud and virtualization technologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Fluency in English, German skills are a plus
