For our bilingual daycare center Joki Unterschleißheim we are looking for a native English speaking

Nursery Teacher (m/f/x)

in full- or part-time.

In our daycare center Joki Unterschleißheim, which opened in 2019, 86 children aged from 6 months to school age are cared for in three nursery groups and two kindergarten groups. Our daycare center is on the ground floor in an existing building on the Business Campus Munich Unterschleißheim. Each of our groups has its own group and adjoining room. In addition, the daycare center has a spacious gym and multi-purpose room. Due to the many windows and access to the garden, the rooms are particularly bright and friendly. Our 1,000 m2 garden invites you to play and run around. Here the children can also have a wide variety of nature experiences and try out the various play equipment. Joki Unterschleißheim is easily accessible by S1, by car and on foot. The proximity to the forest, green areas, parks and lake enable regular trips and excursions for both nursery and kindergarten children.

Your profile:

• You speak English at native level (C1/C2).
• You have a qualification as nursery teacher, e.g. Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Social Work or Psychology.
• You are interested in working bilingually with the immersion method.
• You speak German at intermediate level (B1/B2) or are in the process of learning German.

In our Joki daycare centers our goal is working bilingually with two German native speaking and one English native speaking nursery teacher in each group, each communicating consistently in his or her language. As role models, they convey the joy of communicating and encourage the interest in foreign cultures. We successfully put our high pedagogical standard into practice thanks to our high ratio of employees to children as well as our highly qualified professional counselling and support. Freshly cooked meals from our own kitchens result in a well-balanced, tasty and healthy diet and encourage health-seeking behaviour.
