- Supervising laboratory activities in the field of water hygiene within the accreditation framework, including general lab organization, sample collection training, quality management, data recording, analysis, evaluation, and documentation in the LIMS system.
- Conducting examinations and sampling of drinking water, bathing water, swimming pool water, and bathing pool water.
- Providing technical advice to public health authorities on all water hygiene matters.
- Offering professional recommendations on water hygiene issues.
- Evaluating the hygiene of drinking water (substances, biofilms, treatment techniques according to the Drinking Water Ordinance) and of recreational waters such as swimming and bathing pool waters and their treatment processes.
- Evaluating the hygiene of irrigation and wastewater, sewage sludge from a sanitation perspective.
- A successfully completed university degree (Master's, Diploma, or equivalent) in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or similar field.
- Practical knowledge and experience in environmental analytical laboratory work.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and toxicology.
- High personal commitment, flexibility, decision-making ability.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in common office software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent German language skills (C1/C2) and good English language skills.
- Class B driver's license and willingness to travel.
