Scientist - Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Monheim (all genders)

As a pivotal member of our Research Analytics Team, you will take on the role of providing technical leadership and advancing NMR analytics in the realm of Small Molecules. Your responsibilities involve identifying and devising analysis methods to streamline development processes and facilitate accurate expert assessments. Your expertise and commitment play a pivotal role in the prosperity of our organization, positioning you as an integral member of our team.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will conduct, assess, and coordinate NMR experiments to determine the structure of synthesis products, natural compounds, and reaction by-products
• Investigate reactions concerning kinetics and intermediates, as well as purity analysis of substances using qNMR
• Carry out structural confirmations and purity evaluations under GLP
• Support the creation of novel active components from initial synthesis to manufacturing and formulation
• Conceptualize, execute, and evaluate intricate studies and experiments, and interpret outcomes for presentation in various forums
• Additionally, you will be involved in designing, continuously enhancing, and optimizing methods, models, and processes within the realm of NMR analytics
• Manage equipment and facilities, potentially including planning investments, and collaborate within interdisciplinary teams on strategic, multifaceted matters
• Spearhead innovative development and research projects autonomously

WHO YOU ARE

• Hold a degree (preferably a PhD) in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or Pharmacy with extensive experience in analytical chemistry, particularly nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy
• Experience with GLP, GMP, and other quality systems is advantageous
• Demonstrate a strong emphasis on results and accountability, coupled with analytical thinking
• Show enthusiasm for advancing automation and digitalization in an analytical laboratory
• Possess excellent communication skills and thrive in collaborative environments
• Proficiency in both German and English languages, both written and verbal, is essential
