- Relevant degree in process engineering, chemical engineering, production technology, mechanical engineering, etc.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Project Manager in chemical plants/process industry. PMP Certification and/or MBA are advantageous.
- Expertise in project and risk management, as well as sound business acumen
- Effective handling of critical project situations
- Strong leadership, ethical conduct, and the ability to coordinate/influence third parties
- Self-motivated with a passion for project execution and process improvement
- Team player with collaborative and leadership skills, adept at engaging across organizational levels
- High sense of responsibility, safety consciousness, excellent communication skills, independence, assertiveness, and overview
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)

Engineering Leader (m/f/d)
As an Engineering Leader, you will oversee the local team within the Global Engineering Department in Cologne, managing 10 direct reports. Your role involves organizing and ensuring the seamless execution of investment projects in Cologne, from engineering to completion, in collaboration with our engineering partner company. Projects range from minor enhancements to large-scale constructions. Your responsibilities include team development, project prioritization, and coordination among operational, maintenance, and engineering partners. Globally, you will be part of the European Global Engineering Leadership Team, contributing to major international projects and shaping the department's future.
