How you'll support us:

• Evaluate proactive and reactive vulnerabilities and their criticality and entry risks
• Conduct security assessments/penetration tests on infrastructure systems and applications
• Responsible for technical vulnerability scanning, detecting vulnerabilities automatically, and identifying deviations from security baselines
• Prepare security assessments of IT infrastructures and applications for us and our customers
• Create technical documentation and reports
• Interpret alerts from SIEM and IDS/IPS systems, as well as other common security solutions
• Analyze log data, anomaly, and attack patterns along the Cyber Kill Chain
• Perform detailed analysis of security telemetry data (endpoint protection) and correlate cross-platform events
• Support SIEM installations for us and our customers
• Develop and implement SIEM use cases
• Support and advise on security analyses and technical issues in projects

How you'll impress us:

• Completed studies with a technical background or equivalent qualification and at least three years of experience focusing on IT security
• Relevant experience with Linux and Windows systems
• Expertise in networking and security
• Experience with products related to Vulnerability Scanning (Nessus) and Penetration Testing (Kali, etc.)
• Knowledge of manual and tool-assisted analysis and attack techniques (Wireshark, Metasploit, Mimikatz, etc.) and SIEM systems
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Preferred certifications like CISSP, CompTIA+, or OSCP
• Excellent German and English language skills, written and verbal
• Team player with assertiveness, presentation, and communication skills
