Our Berlin location is our most recent addition to our global network of tech centres and growing strongly. Our tech teams and business units use agile ways of working to create #GlobalHausbank solutions from our home market.

The Merchant Solutions Technology group provides the Corporate Bank with a dedicated team that capitalizes on the rapidly evolving technology industry to provide our clients new products and innovation to meet their growing needs within an Agile FinTech-like setup.

As part of our new team within the Berlin Tech Hub you will be responsible for technical design, coding, automated unit testing and integration and will liaise with the Product Owner, Architects, Product Managers, software engineers/developers and testers regarding the development and implementation of product lines using various technologies.

Use your full stack experience of Java and Typescript to design an d dev elop ne w an d exi sting ap p lications wi t hin a clo ud-based hi gh ava ilability ar c hitecture .

Assist in the adoption of modern engineering practices , design principles and Agile methodology across the Fintech Enablement team .

Experience of payment industry processes , such as , but not limited to , credit card processing and APMs .

Experience in Core Java, Database Technologies ( e.g. SQL, Hibernate, NoSQL), micro-service architectures, Kubernetes containerization platforms (GKE, OpenShift). Typescript, HTML, CSS, React
building large scale and highly available (REST) API's in Java.
Teamcity , Jenkins , GitHub Actions ) and support (CD, incident/problem/change management etc.).
Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English; German language knowledge would be a plus.
