    Leidos Digital Modernization sector has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Senior Network Engineer.

    This position is in support of a Department of Defense (Do D) organization, US AFRICOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany.

    This position is required to travel OCONUS.


    Clearance:

    An active Do D Top Secret/SCI Clearance is required What will you do in this role?Provide critical insight into the design of future AFRICOM networks.

    Provide advanced understanding of key networking technologies to include CSf C, Zero Trust Architecture, Cisco SDA and ISE deployments and configuration.

    Bring a full understanding of Enterprise networks not limited to transport, data centers, LAN/WAN, Firewalls, Load balancers and router/switch technologies.

    Support the full system development lifecycle and on-going projects. Supervise and provide subject matter expert level technical expertise, training and mentoring to Network Engineering and Administrator teams.

    Develop and maintain IP address schemes for all assigned networks, and annually review and update the Master IP Routing Schema.

    Manage circuit provisioning throughout the delivery life cycle.

    Install and test circuit and base extensions and coordinate with external entities and the Government leads for end-to-end testing and activation.

    Monitor capacity and utilization and recommend solutions., Provide trending and capacity planning services to analyze and plan for efficient utilization and management of the network.

    These are the Required Qualifications You must hold an adjudicated Top Secret/SCI clearance and be able to maintain.

    To pass TESA and be able to work in Germany, you must have either:

    BA/BS + 8 years recent specialized or AA/AS + 10 years recent specialized or a major cert + 12 years recent specialized or 1 years of recent specialized experience.

    Must hold current Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

    Enterprise or Data Center Must hold current Comp TIA Security + (IAT Level II or greater)Expert level experience working with and supporting Cisco Routers and Switches in a complex enterprise environment Experience with Cisco software defined networking (ACI)These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
    CCIE Data Center ITIL v3 or v4 – Foundation Automation using Microsoft Power Shell, VBScript, or batch files Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards Experience with Do D IT security requirements Why join us?     Pay Range:

    Pay Range $87, $157,450.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
