The Network Administrator will oversee network infrastructures including NIPRNet SIPRNet and other essential systems providing Tier III support collaborating with systems security teams to identify requirements monitor network traffic address security concerns implement network enhancements expansions focusing on core routing switching and network security services participate in procurement processes design development creation of initial bills of materials offering technical training maintaining documentation for Help Desk personnel departments collaborate with vendors for the design implementation of new network systemsResponsibilities
- Manage daily operations maintenance security of routers switches firewalls across multiple networks.
- Provide Tier III support serving as an escalation point to resolve advanced issues impacting mission.
- Collaborate with systems security teams identify requirements monitor traffic address concerns implement enhancements expansions focusing on core routing switching services.
