Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
This role takes on responsibility for analysing & reporting on the external and internal data from various transaction & interaction data sources related to sporting goods industry, wholesale, own eCommerce ) and Retail, with the objective of driving market insights, competitors' analyses and business performance, supporting global stakeholders and markets around the globe in their business opportunities.
He/She/They will be translating market and business performance insights into business recommendations and translating business requests related to analytics & being responsible for data quality, conformity, dashboards creation and maintenance
Key Responsibilities:
Market/Industry & Competitors Insights
• Support to drive the team to become a world-class, insights-driven center of excellence that can help drive business,strategy and action
• Develop research hypothesis from business questions and follow that hypothesis through analysis and recommendations
• Provide ad hoc analysis and in depth analysis about the market and competitors performance
• Responsible to track industry trends/development and competitors move supporting our competitive intelligence structure
• Consistently update reports, seek enhancements, and share insights with partners and teams
• Collaborate with various cross-functional business partners to structure solutions to data and business questions
• Analyze and work with Financial releases and whitepapers related to the sportswear business and fashion trends
• Be responsible to manage global suppliers, tracking efficiency, project status, servicing level and drive them strategically.
• Support the community management and content curation for our Market Intelligence communication channels,
Reporting
• Provide clear, concise, and actionable recommendations by drawing out key insights from in-depth, complex data sources and reporting these to various internal stakeholders
• Be able to connect available data with business situations and company/sales strategy
Support of global market intelligence, business develpment and analytics community
• Support the community management and content curation for our Market Intelligence communication channels,
• Go beyond and also connect Market Intelligence insights with other teams such as PMO, Head Office, Brand Insights, Finance and others
• Educate and develop the functional Market Intelligence analysts around the globe and make them highly effective and self-sufficient in the usage of the market intelligence analytics tools
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Highly numerate with a strong capability to analyse data and produce actionable insights.
• Extensive experience of data analysis and reporting
• Storytelling
• Strong knowledge of Power Point and Excel
• Leadership, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Someone who considers quality, accuracy and attention to detail as critical
• High knowledge of Market Intelligence, Strategy, Business Development and relative areas
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum of 4 years market/business intelligence experience
• University Degree (e.g. in Business, Marketing, Economics, International Management, Business & Engineering and related areas)
• Fluency in English (written and verbal)
