Associate Director CMC / Technical Project Lead

The Role

As the Associate Director CMC, you will lead an asset throughout the entire development life cycle, leading the product right through to commercial supply working with some of the industries greatest minds across the globe.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams in CMC development projects, ensuring adherence to overall strategies and timelines.
• Develop and drive strategies to support the overall development plan, focusing on supply, product quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Take leadership roles in special projects or committees critical to compound development and unit milestones.
• Serve as Matrix Lead for cross-functional working teams, fostering collaboration and communication.
• Interface with various global site locations, other functions, and key business partners.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive internal and external presentations, decision memos, and reports encompassing relevant tasks.

Requirements

• Hold a university degree (Ph.D. preferred) in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutics, or related disciplines within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology sciences.
• Possess a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, with expertise in drug development.
• Exhibit strong project management skills and extensive experience in process, product, and analytical development activities.
• Biologics background.
• English Speaking, German would be a plus.
