What to expect

• As an external data protection officer, you will assist our clients in all matters related to data protection and IT security.
• You will work with your team to develop data protection-compliant solutions tailored to our clients' specific needs.
• You will support and conduct audits in the field of data protection and IT security with a comprehensive view.
• Analyzing and establishing data protection management systems, preparing data protection impact assessments, and creating data protection documentation (e.g., processing agreements, joint controllership agreements) are also part of your responsibilities.
• During data breaches, hacker attacks, and ransomware incidents, you will remain composed and support our clients.
• You will utilize the Data Privacy Solution platform from our startup caralegal on a daily basis.

Your qualifications

• You are a qualified lawyer or have successfully completed studies in business law.
• You are passionate about data, data protection, and IT security and have gained initial professional experience in these areas.
• You have a technical affinity and ideally possess fundamental knowledge of IT infrastructures.
• You have a customer-centric mindset and enjoy providing consultancy services.
• You excel in a structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to work.
