For our location in Lotte/Osnabrück, we are currently seeking a Hardware Engineer eCAD (m/f/d) for the Gas Meter Development department.

Your Responsibilities

• Creation of circuit diagrams in the eCAD program Mentor Xpedition according to developer specifications
• EMC and RF-compliant design of multi-layer printed circuit boards
• Collaboration with external suppliers and support in transitioning electronic assemblies from development to external manufacturing
• Consultation of development teams on technology and quality issues related to PCB/electronic assembly, with good knowledge of common IPC standards
• Documentation of development results in SAP and Siemens Teamcenter
• Supervision of prototype construction in the electronic laboratory for development purposes, and management of necessary equipment for prototype manufacturing
• Collaboration with international teams and internal as well as external partners
• Interaction with customers and suppliers
• Support to the development team in providing and utilizing the eCAD tool Mentor Xpedition as a key user

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Several years of professional experience in designing multi-layer PCBs
• Experience in EMC- and RF-optimized and DfX-compliant PCB layout
• Knowledge of DfX requirements for electronic designs and common IPC standards
• Understanding of process flows in electronics manufacturing
• Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
• Preferred: Certified Interconnect Designer (CID/CID+) certification, experience with Mentor Xpedition, knowledge in Design for Six Sigma
