- are responsible for planning, commissioning, and construction management of demolition and clearance measures including preparation of tender-compliant performance specifications according to DIN 276
- oversee renovation and maintenance measures
- review design and execution plans related to the work
- manage all tasks related to the property management including coordination of external service providers
- conduct acceptance of construction works including necessary defect rectifications, invoice processing, and handling warranty claims
- perform project management tasks, coordinate external planning offices, and settle external services
- fulfill operator obligations regarding technical building equipment, especially for fire protection systems, elevators, and storage tanks for hazardous substances
- regularly inspect municipal properties, document the results, ensure hazard elimination, and restore safety
- have several years of professional experience with solid knowledge in similar functions (building construction, renovation, and demolition)
- demonstrate conceptual and meticulous work capabilities
- have experience in managing construction activities and building maintenance
- are familiar with relevant legal regulations and technical standards, especially in terms of operator responsibility and special buildings
- possess knowledge and experience in procurement management
- deliver high-quality work with efficiency and results orientation

- have strong communication and teamwork skills

An opportunity is available immediately in the Department of Real Estate, Surveying and Cadastre in the Real Estate Department for an Engineer specialized in Architecture and Civil Engineering in the team "Building Technology, Land Recycling".
The department manages various urban properties, including residential buildings, commercial properties, theaters, forts, underground parking lots, and garages.

The position is rated in remuneration group 11 of the collective agreement for public service employees (TVöD) or in pay group A 11 career group 2 for civil servants according to the salary law of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (LBesG NRW).
The salary range in remuneration group 11 (TVöD-VKA) is between €4,032.38 (experience level 1) and €5,975.19 (experience level 6) for full-time employment.
