KG Organization Transformation of Industry Business Unit Compression Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day As the Team Lead (f/m/d) for Service Engineering Project Europe you are responsible for concept finding, technical offers to Sales, design and order execution of Modernization and Upgrade customer orders, including different design studies as customer order or as a service to sales team.This includes the former STC- as well as the DR legacy fleet with a new created team with experts from Duisburg and Le Havre. How You'll Make an Impact
  • Managing and leading a team of ~20 employees, located in Le Havre (FRA) and Duisburg (GER)
  • Identify best-practice in operational excellence with suppliers, external engineering partners and internal stakeholders and driving continuous improvements
  • Being part of developing and industrializing new technologies and digitalization especially for decarbonization, electrification and CO2 emission-reduction concepts of our legacy compressor fleet in operation
  • Create transparency about current project status of multiple service lines in a matrix-organization
  • Concept-finding for compressor systems as a modernization or upgrade incl. budget finding and execution model with vendors and partners
  • What You Bring
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering
  • 5+ years of combined experience in technical roles ( Engineering, Proposals and/or Services) related to design and specification of auxiliary systems associated with rotating equipment
  • Demonstrable command of industry standards and codes used for design and specification of auxilliaryl systems - notably IEC, NEC, IEEE, API, and related EC Directives
  • Peer-recognized for solving complex problems, developing new business processes, and demonstrating high professional judgement in ambiguous circumstances
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel international as required
