    Job Introduction

    Since January , William Grant & Sons Deutschland GmbH, based in Hamburg, has been developing the German market as its own sales company, with the aim of developing our core brands Hendricks Gin, Glenfiddich and Tullamore Dew, to name just a few, into the most popular brands in the premium spirits segment.

    For our office in Hamburg we are looking for a Supply Planner (m/w/d) .

    Main Responsibility

  • Assure a continuous supply planning, by placing the orders in production and following up till delivery at warehouse
  • Manage allocated products to be in line with the agreed market allocations policy and process through regular reviews with the Commercial teams, highlighting opportunities and risks where appropriate
  • Maintain and evaluate stock levels including the setting of targets and management of new and delisted SKU's to minimise obsolescence
  • Develop inventory strategies on existing items, new products and product phase outs
  • Supply the production of monthly reports on stock position, including Days of Stock calculations and an analysis of slow moving & obsolete stocks and ensure key PSC KPI's are reported and improved
  • Regularly review safety stock levels for each SKU to ensure a high level of availability for customers whilst keeping overall days of stock coverage for the site in line with the agreed targets.
  • Assure the Supply Chain Brand owner relationship including order and replenishment of brand owner volumes to ensure contractual requirements are met
  • Prepare the introduction of new products through liaison with Demand Planning, Customer Service, Commercial, Planning and NDP teams.
  • Counsel key internal supply chain stakeholders and commercial stakeholders to achieve inventory targets and improve Supply Chain performance
  • Maintain stock levels to an agreed number of days of forward forecast and responsible for monthly stock reconciliation
  • Coordinate the display and value added pack building processes and ensure a steady and reliable supply of displays and Vaps according to the demand plan

    • Our Ideal Candidate

    Essential:

  • Comprehensive supply planning knowledge with an understanding of end to end supply chain processes and procedures gained in an FMCG or similar environment
  • Demonstrable ability to analyse and interpret data across multiple systems
  • Very good computer & MS Office skills with strong knowledge of MsExcel;
  • Self-starter with ability to work alone or part of a wider team

    • Desirable :

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably in a mathematical or science subject
  • Knowledge and experience of continuous improvement techniques
  • Proven track record of managing master data within a global FMCG environment
  • Knowledge of OMP+ or any other planning system
