    The Toro Company, a leading provider for the outdoor environment, is looking for a Finance Manager for Perrot, one of its brands. The resource will be located in Althengstett, Germany and will work on-site .

    Founded in 1925, Perrot manufactures a variety of irrigation products for sports fields, agricultural fields and industrial applications. The Toro Company acquired Perrot in 2017.

    Major Functions

    The Finance Manager will join the local Finance team, in agreement with the international/cross functional team. He/She cooperates closely with Finance Team in order to implement the local reporting and activities with the headquarter. He/She organizes, guides, leads, controls and accounts for the efficient progress of the financial-accounting activity pursuant to the compliance provisions. Ensures the efficient organization and management of all the company's assets pursuant to the current legal provisions and company's internal norms and regulations. This position presents a unique opportunity to engage with diverse departments and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout The Toro Company.

    What will you do?

    In this role, you'll be responsible for:


    • Ensuring the booking of all financial and accounting entries in accordance with statutory and group requirements


    • Reporting, analyzing, and assuring the integrity of all financial information, including monthly internal financial reporting for management


    • Supervising the month-end and year-end statutory closing in accordance with local and group deadlines


    • Supervising the preparation and submissions of the statutory declarations/reports


    • Maintaining the collaboration relationships with internal and external auditors and responsible for the annual statutory audit with external auditors


    • Compliance in regards to financial transactions and reporting


    • Coordinating in preparation of the quarterly and annual financial plan and projections

    What do you need?

    To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:


    • Bachelor's in Accounting required, MBA or other applicable advanced degree


    • 5+ years business accounting experience with emphasis in compliance GAAP and Germany regulations in coherence with other plants of the Company, located outside Germany


    • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills both English and German (C1/C2)


    • Leverages technology and systems to drive efficiencies


    • Demonstrated project management skills


    • Leadership with focus on career and professional development of staff


    • Experience with the use of professional tools and software (SAP, etc.)

    Desirable:


    • Experience in multi-cultural, multi-national companies


    • Familiarity and/or proficiency in using financial software


    • Experience working as Advisor/ Auditor
