- Instigate Design for Manufacturing (DFM) processes for highly integrated battery modules (cells, electronics, casings, and thermal management systems) with achievable tolerances for affordable, high-rate production.
- Research & define disruptive manufacturing technologies and implement state-of-the-art manufacturing methods for the next generation of advanced manufacturing.
- Define design principles (composites, metals, etc.) with regards to manufacturability.
- Assist design/test engineers with the designing and manufacturing of tooling and jigs.
- Participate hands-on with the manufacturing and assembly of components for prototypes and demonstrators.
- Interface directly with critical manufacturers and suppliers.
- 5+ years of professional experience.
- Engineering degree in the field of Aerospace, Electrical, Manufacturing, Materials, or Mechanical Engineering (or other degree in which knowledge of manufacturing and materials is demonstrated).
- Extensive experience in developing innovative products and contributing significantly towards their advancement (ideally in the field of electric mobility).
- Understanding of manufacturing principles for electrical/electronic equipment.
- Firsthand experience with the manufacturing and/or integration of composite (thermoset & thermoplastic), ceramic, and metallic components.
- Intimate knowledge of material properties, selection, and processing.
- Ability to conduct tolerance analysis on a complex system and perform methods to determine accumulated variation.
- Professional experience with CAD software (e.g. Catia or Siemens NX).
- Team-player with extensive experience in multidisciplinary collaborative technical environments.
- Effective communication skills in speaking and writing.
- English language proficiency (fluent) is a must. German would be a plus.

A full electric microliner is cleaner and cheaper to operate than other aeroplanes in its class, it provides a better travel experience door to door up to 500 km. We offer new optimized design based on proven principles, around proven and available technology in electric motors and batteries, that brings lowest risk and shortest route to certification.
