Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in commercial / business law
• A minimumof 3 years workingexperiencein a business environment
• Knowledge of German and EU commercial law regulations
• Cooperative and solution oriented attitude
• Attention to detail and the ability to keep deadlines
• Highdegree of professional ethics and integrity
• Outstanding communication skills in English and German(both verbally and in writing)Japanese language ability is a plus

Main Responsibilities

• Drafting, negotiatingand / or advising oncontracts and other legal documents (supplier declarations, declaration to corporate ethics)
• Risk management (staying up to date and ensuringcompliance with relevant laws and regulations)
• Counselling on a variety of legal issues within the company regarding contract status, legal risks and business terms (civil law, business law, partnerships, international ventures, export control law etc.)
• Monitoring the relevant internal approval procedures (e.g. export control)
• Communication with external parties (e.g. other affiliates, regulators, external counsels, public authorities etc.)
• Managing, reviewing and maintainingthe Daikin Chemical Europe internal policies, updating Daikin Chemicals' internal policies in cooperation with relevant departments as well as the Headquarter in Japanand facilitating understanding of those policies byexecutives and employees
• Ensuring compliance with data protection law and communication with the Data Protection officer
