Job requirements:
Responsible for operation & monitoring of antenna and RF sub-system electronics.
Ability to interpret link budgets, EIRP, beamwidth, TWTA, HPA input/output back-off, etc.
Familiar with components like Modulator, Up-converter, HPA, Down-converter, LNA, L band, Fiber connections…etc.
Troubleshooting & performing required tests using monitoring tools like spectrum analysers, power meters…etc.
Provide technical support and assistance to customers via ticketing portal/ Email/ Over Telephone/ Microsoft Teams.
Maintain & record operational logs of RF equipment.
Coordinate with Satellite operators for optimum service delivery.
Monitoring and interpreting logs in NMS to ensure operational reliability.
Ensure redundant systems are operating nominally.
Develop necessary knowledge to step in during absence of colleagues.
Ability to work on flexible schedules including early, late and night shifts ,on call to support 24/7 operation.

Remote working/ Hybrid working is not possible in this role and this a 24 x 7 x 365 role which involves rotational shift as assigned including weekends and public holidays and no additional pay is available.

Qualifications:
Must have

Bachelor's degree in Electronics / Communication/ Electrical/ Microwave/ IT engineering with Satellite Communication as a subject, 0-2 years experience in NOC operations, Monitoring and troubleshooting RF sub-systems in a satellite teleport environment or similarincluding but not limited to Dish antennas, LNA's, HPA's, Frequency Up/Down converters, RF over Fiber and related interconnect.

Knowledge of RF concepts including transmission lines, impedance matching, active circuits, microwave frequencies, satellite modems and hubs, link budget analysis.

The candidate must have an German Residence Title, with minimum B2 level language competence.
The candidate must have good command of English language.
Class B EU driver's licence.

Ability to lift 20 kg, comfortable in working in small and cramped spaces, heights up to 25m and climbing ladders to perform various tasks.

Willingness to do a background check for criminal record as required.

Ready to commute to Degernpoint, Moosburg daily from a maximum of 30 minutes travel distance or relocate to suitable location, if this criterion cannot be met from current location.
