    Are you passionate about law and ready to make a difference? Atlas Copco Holdings GmbH is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Legal Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our legal operations across the DACH region. Preferably based in Essen, Germany. Your mission will be to assist the DACH Legal team in handling legal matters across various domains. Work spans across multiple legal domains from contract and corporate law to regulatory compliance. You will Engage with international counterparts, both internal and external.

    Your role

    Coordination and Administration:

  • Assist the legal team with scheduling, filing, and maintaining databases.
  • Optimize work processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Oversee correspondence in both German and English languages.
  • Manage the SharePoint site(s) for legal matters.
  • Collaboration and Communication:

  • Liaise with legal departments across the Atlas Copco Group to gather facts and case information.
  • Act as the interface for external consultants.
  • Handle accounting for outsourced mandates.
  • Financial and Reporting Tasks:

  • Conduct cost analyses.
  • Assist with M&A project controlling.
  • Process invoices and reminders.
  • Prepare quarterly reports.
  • Corporate Housekeeping:

  • Maintain shareholder resolutions and company files.
  • Handle commercial register entries.
  • As Legal Assistant DACH you will report to the General Counsel Holding who is based in Essen. Functionally you will report VP Holding, who is based in Essen, too.

    To Succeed you need

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in organizational and commercial administration.
  • Proficiency in German and good English skills.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, global setting where multitasking is key.
  • Service-minded with a high level of integrity.
  • Competent in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams/SharePoint).
  • You have commercial apprenticeship experience. Handling of organizational and commercial-administrative, office management processes.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively. Balance discretion and communication skills.
  • Having a reliable, proactive and conscientious way of working as well as flexibility.
  • Enjoy contributing to organizational analysis. Consistently maintain organized records. Demonstrate reliability and proactivity.

    We are a global team working in a hybrid model. We have Holding offices in Essen, and legal teams in 4 other locations in Germany.
