I'm supporting a dynamic start-up based out of Germany, specialising in automotive and embedded systems cybersecurity, in the hiring of a Senior Linux Security Engineer.

Our client have an abundance of projects, working closely with the most established names in automotive.

This position offers FULL REMOTE from within Germany, flexible working hours, and a bi-annual "work vacation" with the team.

The client are working on several projects including:

Developing and maintaining automated code infrastructure for infotainment systems
Security Engineering in the field of embedded Linux
Understand Linux platform security needs and research solutions
Perform threat analysis
Designing and implementing different platform security components and features
Integrating security hardening tests of embedded Linux ECUs

The ideal candidate is experienced in:

Embedded Linux Development
Secure Kernel Configuration
Linux security features (DAC, ACL, CGROUPS, Caps, sccomp, namespaces)
Linux security modules (SELinux, AppArmor, TOMOYO, SMACK)


Nice to haves:
Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity standards (ISO21434, WP.29, J3061, R155/156)
Other security standards (ISO2700x, IEC 62443)
ARM Trust Zone
Secure Boot
Android Security
